Staff and leaders actively listened to information about people who are most likely to experience inequality in experience or outcomes and tailored their care, support and treatment in response to this. The service supported people from different cultures and backgrounds. We saw how staff were often recruited who could speak the same language as the person as well as English. This helped them make appointments with other professionals.
