Relatives told us they were involved in planning peoples care. People were asked for regular informal feedback, in addition to a yearly, formal feedback survey. One relative told us,” [Registered manager] is always available if needed and often speaks with us about how things are going and if we want anything changed”.

Staff promoted and supported people to make their own choices and decisions, recognising that each person was an individual. Staff had received training and understood their role in ensuring people's equality and diversity was respected.

People’s care was regularly reviewed, People and their relatives were fully involved in the review process. The provider sought regular feedback from people which was used to improve the service.
