People were in control of any decision making and were involved in all aspects of their care. One person told us, “I have a care plan that I helped write. If I want a wash, I just have to tell them and they will help me”.

The registered manager met with people and their relatives regularly to discuss and review their care, making any changes where needed.

Care plans evidenced how people were involved in planning their support needs. Care plans contained specific information about people’s choices and preferences.
