One person said, “It is my aspiration to be mobilised and return to my home as I left it. The staff are supporting me in this.” A family member said, “Staff are kind. If my [relative] had a problem [relative] would talk to them about it.”

A staff member said, “It has taken a while to create an activity plan that people would like to do, everyone is different. I try to be as person centred as I can. I tend to do group activities in the morning and then give people one to one time in the afternoon.”

Care plans detailed peoples choices and levels of support needed. The registered manager said they assess peoples mental capacity and apply for deprivation of liberty orders when appropriate.
