Our view of the service
Alpine Lodge is a care home providing accommodation for personal and nursing care to older people, some of whom are living with dementia. The service can support up to 67 people. At the time of this inspection there were 56 people living at Alpine Lodge. At the last inspection the service was rated requires improvement, was in breach of regulations and we took enforcement action. We carried out this assessment in November 2024 to determine if improvements had been made. At this visit we found the service had made significant improvement and is rated good. The management team promoted safety, events and incidents were investigated, and lessons learnt to embed and promote good practice. Staff were kind and caring and delivered good care and treatment following evidence-based practice and people experienced good positive outcomes.
