During an assessment under our new approach

Date of Assessment: 25 November to 3 December 2024. The service is a care at home service providing support to older people, younger adults and children living with physical disabilities, learning disabilities or autism. At the time of assessment there were 6 people receiving the regulated activity. We have assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. People were supported to take risks to improve their quality of life. People were protected and kept safe. There were enough staff with the necessary skills and qualifications. Staff followed national guidelines on stopping over medication of people with a learning disability and autistic people (STOMP). Effective systems were in place to monitor the quality and safety of the service. Staff and leaders demonstrated a listening culture and were open to learning and improvements.
