Responsive
People's care plans were detailed and personalised. People's communication needs were identified, recorded and highlighted in care plans. These needs were shared appropriately with others. Lessons were learnt and shared across the service, with a strong focus on improvement and preventing a reoccurrence.

Equity in experiences and outcomes
People's care plans were detailed and personalised. People and relatives knew how to complain and were confident any issues raised would be addressed and resolved. The provider had systems in place to ensure people, staff and professional feedback was received. Lessons were learnt and shared across the service, with a strong focus on improvement and preventing a reoccurrence.
Staff told us care and support was well managed, and everyone involved worked well together. Staff demonstrated people were in control of planning their care and support. Staff comments included; "[Person] has a say in everything that they wish and can say no if they want to." And "We are protecting people's human rights by treating them with dignity and respect, treating them as individuals, and protecting from discrimination, abuse or neglect. We respect people's privacy and asking for consent. We encourage [people's] participation in all decision making." Staff told us they feel proud working for Angel Holistic Care: "The company holds the highest quality of reviews on Homecare.co.uk and thus leading the award of 'Top 20 Homecare Providers in the South West', in addition to this the company has been nominated for numerous awards over the past years, and recently been awarded 'Best-Person Centred Live-in & Dementia Care Specialists 2024 - Dorset' by Global Health & Pharma, and 'Home Healthcare Provider of the Year' by South England Prestige Awards for 2023/24. I feel incredibly proud to work for the Company and I know that my colleagues do too. Our clients have the best quality of life that they possibly can have; they are so happy being able to still live in their home, being looked after by individuals who truly care about them."
People and relatives told us care and support was well managed, and everyone involved worked well together. People and relatives were encouraged and enabled to feedback about care in ways that work for them. People and relatives were in control of planning care and support. "My [relative] is unable to talk and can only communicate via a white board, their carer is extremely patient and kind and considerate and my [relatives] are extremely fond of [them]."
