On the day of inspection, we spoke with 1 patient. They told us staff were kind, caring and friendly. Staff helped patients to be involved in decisions about their care and gave patients clear information to help them make informed choices about their treatment. The patient said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate. They felt they were treated as an individual, and their personal needs were respected. The provider had undertaken a patient survey that they shared with us. This showed a high level of satisfaction with the service, and praised staff.

Staff were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and the importance of patient privacy and confidentiality. Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles. Leaders described how they supported the wellbeing of staff.

We did not receive any information from partners.

The practice had information governance arrangements and staff were aware of the importance of protecting patients’ personal information. Staff password protected patients’ electronic care records, and paper records were stored securely and complied with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). We saw the general environment helped to protect patients’ privacy and dignity. Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion.
