Regulations met

On the day of inspection, we spoke with patients who told us that staff were kind and respectful and they were very happy with their care. Staff helped patients to be involved in decisions about their care and gave patients clear information to help them make informed choices about their treatment. Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate. Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

Staff were aware of the importance of patient privacy and confidentiality, and their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights. Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and the practice manager described how they supported the wellbeing of staff.

We did not receive any information from partners.

The practice had information governance arrangements and staff were aware of the importance of protecting patients’ personal information. Staff password protected patients’ electronic care records. We saw the general environment helped to protect patients’ privacy and dignity. Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion.
