Our view of the service
Perthyn Nottinghamshire Office is a Supported Living Service. It is registered to provide personal care and support for younger adults, older people or younger adults who are autistic, or people with a learning disability. At the time of the inspection, the service was supporting 11 people with their personal care needs. We contacted the provider and agreed for documentation related to the running of the service; to be sent securely to the CQC for review. On 2 April 2024, we visited people in their own homes to observe the care provided. On 2 April 2024, an expert by experience also phoned people’s relatives to gather feedback on the care provided. This was our first assessment at Perthyn Nottinghamshire Office. New services are assessed to check they are likely to be safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led when they register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). During this assessment we looked at 3 quality statements; Safeguarding; Involving people to manage risks and Safe and effective staffing. We assessed some but not all quality statements at this visit which means no key questions will receive an overall rating. We assessed some but not all evidence categories which means not all assessed quality statements will receive a scoring. This assessment did not cover all parts of our Single Assessment Framework, therefore we have only updated scores and ratings for those areas which we have assessed. We will carry out future assessments to cover other parts of the Framework and will update our website with our findings.
