Our rating for this key question remains good. Staff, people and their relatives were supported to raise concerns, speak with management, and discuss their views and feedback. No concerns were raised about discrimination or inequality.

Equity in experiences and outcomes
People did not raise any concerns regarding inequity in experience and outcomes. People told us they were able to feedback their views to the service and were confident any issues would be acted upon and dealt with appropriately. One relative told us, “I can raise issues easily with the office and they do sort them out.”
Staff reported that people had various ways to provide feedback. One member of staff told us, “Staff are treated fairly and equally by Heritage Healthcare York.”
The provider had equality and diversity policies and procedures in place which were regularly reviewed. There were various avenues for people to report any concerns and offer feedback regarding the service, including regular telephone monitoring, surveys and in person meetings.
