People were supported to access a wide range of activities that included trampolining, swimming, employment and day centres.

Staff told us they promoted community inclusion by ensuring people were visible within their community. One staff member said, “Anything they want to do, we will make happen for them. When we know an event happening in the local community, we ask people if they want to go.” Another said, “We promote mainstream activities as well as those aimed at people with a learning disability and/or autistic people.”

The provider had systems in place to ensure people's feedback was received. Staff provided people with person-centred care and people were given choices and encouraged to follow their routines and interests. People were encouraged to maintain contact with friends and relatives so that their independence was promoted, and the risk of social isolation was minimised.
