Well-led
People, their relatives, staff and professionals told us the home was well led. The registered manager was passionate about their mission and the values of the home were instilled in staff from the top. A person told us how happy they were since moving to the home and said, “The registered manager [name] does well and is a real character, this rubs off on the staff.”

Capable, compassionate and inclusive leaders
People, their relatives and staff were complimentary about the management of the home and the registered manager. They told us they felt involved and respected, working as a ‘family.’ Some comments we received were, “The registered manager [name] is the best and the main reason why I am still here, if you have a problem with anything they will help you”, “The registered manager [name] is an excellent manager, any issue I have had, and they solve it”, and, “The registered manager [name] is very good to us all.”
Staff knew how to raise concerns and access support, there were clear processes in place. Staff were consulted through staff meetings and individual conversations. People and their relatives were kept involved and informed. One relative said, “They always keep us updated, we attend various meetings.”
