Our view of the service

Kingsmount Residential Home is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 32 older people, some of whom may be living with dementia or memory loss. At the time of this assessment, there were 28 people living at the service. This off site assessment activity began on the 16 May 2024 and ended on 5 June 2024. We looked at the key questions of; Shared direction and culture, Capable compassionate and inclusive leaders, Freedom to speak up, Workforce equality, diversity and inclusion, Governance, management and sustainability, Partnerships and communities and Learning, improvement and innovation. At our last inspection the service was rated good. Following this assessment the service remains rated good.

People's experience of this service

People, relatives, staff and external health and social care professionals were all asked for their views of the quality of the service provided. The survey responses shared by the registered manager were all positive. People were happy living at the service. Relatives felt their family members were well cared for.
