Equity in experiences and outcomes
People were supported in their healthcare needs. For example, a person told us, “[name of shared lives carer] helps me with going to the doctors.” Shared lives carers and shared lives workers were all trained and understood the importance of equality of care and everyone's entitlement to human rights. Support plans ensured there were opportunities to review and monitor individual outcomes. Barriers to people experiencing good outcomes were clearly identified and ways to overcome them explored and documented.
