Workforce wellbeing and enablement
Staff were caring and showed children and their family’s kindness and compassion. Staff were very motivated and demonstrated a commitment to providing the best quality care to children, young people and their families. Staff were offered clinical and emotional debriefs following specific incidents and when a child died.
The service had processes to support the wellbeing of staff. Staff had access to an employee assistance programme. Wellbeing talks were incorporated into team meetings.
