People received good care and were supported to have choice and control of their lives. Staff supported them and the policies and systems in the service supported this practice.

Most but not all people, told us staff were sufficiently responsive to their immediate needs. Some people said they felt that either some staff weren't willing or they felt they had to fit in with staff's routines. This meant they did not consistently receive personalised care.

Staff told us they were responsive to people. Staff spoke positively about people and gave examples of person centred care. For example, people were consulted about how they wanted to spend their time. For example, crafts and reading.

Staff were seen throughout the inspection to respond to people's needs in a timely manner and in accordance with their care plan.
