During a routine inspection
We spoke with five patients who told us that their admissions had been prompt and in their opinion appropriate.
Patients also spoke positively about their experience at the unit, stating "Everything is fine'; 'The food is good' and 'I feel safe here'. During out visit we observed staff interacting with people on the wards.
People had a full and clear understanding of their individual programmes of care and treatment. They commented that they felt they were given sufficient details and answers to any questions they may have, which they felt allowed them to make informed decisions.
They understood the care and treatment choices available to them and were given appropriate information and support regarding their care or treatment.
