During an inspection looking at part of the service

We were not able to speak with any of the people whose care records we looked at. However, we observed that staff interacted with people in a warm and friendly way, they were attentive and engaged with people in their environment so that they could connect with other areas that was not within their immediate surroundings.

During an inspection looking at part of the service

We were not able to speak with people during this visit, but we observed people in two lounges and saw that staff were polite, congenial and tried to ensure people had a warm, comfortable atmosphere in which to live. Staff engaged people in their environment and involved them in making choices.

During an inspection in response to concerns

We spent time with people in two lounges and watched how staff members talked to people and supported them. Staff were courteous, polite and explained what they were going to do before carrying out tasks for people. People said staff members are 'lovely' and that they do everything people need help with.
