During a routine inspection

Overall patients told us that they were happy with the care and treatment they received at Willesden Centre for Health and Care. Staff took account of patients' individual, cultural and religious needs and individualised plans of care were in place. Patient privacy and dignity was respected and staff were described as approachable, friendly and competent to carry out their role. Pain control was described by patients as 'good' or 'very good'. The wards were clean and the risk of infection minimised. Detailed records of care were kept and appropriate information shared with other services when patients were discharged home or transferred. Some of the comments we received included: 'I am happy with my treatment', 'they look after me very well', 'nothing is too much trouble (for the staff)' and 'they are very good on this ward'.
