The provider had systems in place to support staff well-being. Staff told us they enjoyed working at Bedhampton Nursing Home and felt valued and well supported. Other than ‘Staff wellbeing and enablement’, we did not assess any other quality statements during this assessment in this domain. Workforce wellbeing and enablement

Staff were positive about working at Bedhampton Nursing Home. For example, 1 staff member said, “I love it here.” All staff said they were supported by each other and described being a good team. Staff were grateful for the support they received from their managers and reported feeling like they were trusted to do a good job. There was 1 situation where staff told us they could have been better supported. We discussed this with the manager, and they had plans in place to address this.

Policies about the wellbeing, support and performance of staff were in place. An employee assist programme was utilised to support staff’s wellbeing. Regular meetings and supervision took place, so staff had opportunities to discuss concerns and receive feedback from managers.
