During a routine inspection
We found that people's individual likes, dislikes and preferences were not always considered as part of their care plan and risk assessments were not always appropriately completed. This meant that people were at risk of not receiving care and support that met their individual needs.
Staff recruitment processes were not effective and did not ensure that staff were suitable to work with vulnerable people. Not all staff had received adequate levels of training before working independently with people who use the service and staff did not receive regular supervision and appraisals. The provider was therefore not supporting staff adequately in their roles.
The service did not have effective quality monitoring systems in place to ensure the service was meeting people's needs effectively.
