During a routine inspection
Patients were able to choose appointment times that suited their needs. We saw that patients were given appropriate information regarding their treatment plan.
There were appropriate arrangements in place to deal with foreseeable emergencies.
Patients who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse because the provider had taken reasonable steps to idenify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening.
There were effective infection control processes in place and people were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment. Instruments used in dental treatment were decontaminated in accodance with approved guidelines. Equipment was checked daily and maintained in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines.
Patients were treated by staff who were supported to deliver treatment safely and to an appropriate standard.
Patients were asked for their views on how the service was run. The provider had effective systems in place to identify, assess and manage risk associated with the service.
