During a routine inspection
We saw that the service had signed an agreement with Spire Healthcare Limited in September 2013 for the hospital to provide infection prevention and control services. The service employed only the two consultants. Support was provided by staff employed by Spire Healthcare Limited. We saw that, in accordance with their professional body's requirements, both consultants had completed an appraisal interview within 12 months of our inspection.
We saw that the service asked people to complete feedback forms at every clinic.We found that the responses were all positive, with the vast majority of people who had responded having rated the quality of the service they had received as excellent. The comments made included one which described the service as, "First class."
