During a routine inspection
All of the feedback that we received from the people using the service was very positive. People told us that they had a care plan and that staff helped them in the way that they preferred. They told us that staff were 'very courteous, pleasant and respectful' and 'they're very nice people'. One person told us 'they're a pleasure to have in your house'.
We saw that care plans were well organised, regularly reviewed and reflected peoples assessed healthcare needs. The provider contacted people on a regular basis to make sure that they were quite happy with the service they were receiving.
There were appropriate recruitment processes and pre-employment checks in place to ensure the protection of people using the service. All of the staff had undertaken training to help them meet the needs of the people they were supporting.
