Tonge Fold Health Centre

Tonge Fold Health Centre is an NHS GP practice which provides primary care services to patients in Greater Manchester. The practice is currently rated as good overall, with all key questions rated as good. We carried out an announced assessment of equity of access on 6 March 2024. We received good feedback from patients regarding access to care and we found that the practice had organised services to meet patients’ needs, particularly those who were most likely to have difficulty accessing care. The practice was using feedback and other information to monitor and improve access. Following this assessment the practice continues to be rated good overall, with all key questions rated as good.

In the 2023 National GP Patient Survey, the practice’s data for access was above national averages. Patient feedback gathered by the practice via their friends and family surveys was positive but this cannot be compared directly to the National GP Patient Survey. We received direct feedback from 6 patients, all of which were positive, the patients told us the service was responsive to their needs and they received good care from the staff.
