During a routine inspection
The people we spoke with during our inspection said they were very happy with the care and treatment they received. People said they were confident that the treatment they received was always the best and most suitable. One person said, "I hadn't been to the dentist for twenty years as I was so scared. I finally decided to come here. They have been fantastic. I am no longer scared."
The dental practice had previously been a public house and had been renovated to provide a spacious, well equipped environment. The building was decorated and furnished to be aesthetically pleasing and to meet standards of safety and infection control.
People told us that they felt comfortable and safe during treatments. They said the dentists always explained what they were planning to do, what they had found during examination and what the treatment options were. Charges and any risks with the treatment were also explained.
None of the people we spoke with had ever had cause to make a complaint. One person told us, "If I had any concerns or complaints I would speak with any of the staff, but I don't have any complaints". People spoken with told us they felt confident that any concerns would be dealt with.
