Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
1.1 Within 14 days of this condition coming into effect, the registered provider must:
1.1.1 Develop and implement an effective system to ensure that:
1.1.1.1 All policies are reviewed and kept up to date.
1.1.1.2 All staff understand where and how to access the policies.
1.1.2 Provide CQC with details of the system that has been put in place.
1.2 Within 14 days of this condition taking effect the registered provider must:
1.2.1 Develop and implement an effective system to ensure staff receive and are up to date with appropriate training, to enable them to carry out their duties including, but not limited to:
1.2.1.1 Safeguarding training at the appropriate level to their role
1.2.1.2 Basic Life Support training.
1.2.1.3 Mental Capacity Act training.
1.2.2 Provide CQC with details of the system that has been put in place.
1.3 Within 14 days of this condition coming into effect, the registered provider must:
1.3.1 Develop and implement an effective system to ensure that health and safety risk assessments are up to date including but not limited to:
1.3.1.1 Portable appliance testing.
1.3.1.2 Equipment calibration.
1.3.1.3 Legionella.
1.3.2 Provide CQC with details of the system that has been put in place.
1.4 Within 14 days of this condition coming into effect, the registered provider must provide CQC with evidence that:
1.4.1 The backlog of pathology results has been reviewed and appropriate action taken.
1.4.2 The backlog of documents to be filed has been reviewed and filed onto the electronic system.
1.5 Within 14 days of this condition coming into effect, the registered provider must:
1.5.1 Develop and implement an effective system to ensure that pathology results and correspondence is reviewed and actioned in a timely way so that a backlog does not recur.
1.5.2 Provide CQC with details of the system put in place.
