During a routine inspection
We met the principle GP during our visit. Patients spoken with confirmed that they had been able to make an appointment to see their GP without many problems, although sometimes the surgery was very busy. The practice had changed its system for making appointments in response to patient feedback.
The practice had the relevant safeguarding policies and procedures to follow should they have concerns about a child or vulnerable adult. Staff had received relevant training to ensure patients were protected from the risk of abuse.
Patients were protected against the risks associated with medicines because the provider had appropriate arrangements in place to manage medicines.
There were systems in place to monitor the quality of service provided and patients. Patients and their representatives were asked for their views about their care and treatment.
