During a routine inspection
People we spoke with told us they felt safe, and they trusted the staff who came to their home. One person said "I trust them. I have never had any bother with them." We found that the service had a policy in place about safeguarding vulnerable adults and staff had undertaken training on this subject. Checks were carried out on staff before they begun work. These including Disclosure and Barring Service checks and employment references.
People told us that they were asked for their views about the service they received. One person said "I speak to a lady from the office. She asks how we are getting on." We found the service had various systems in place to monitor the quality of care provided, including a questionnaire and telephone surveys.
