During a routine inspection
We looked at the care records of four people who used the service. These showed us that people's treatment had been discussed with them, and we saw that copies of their treatment plans were provided.
During our visit we observed staff treating people in a kind, professional and respectful manner. People we spoke with told us that all the staff at the service were very helpful, pleasant and always explained everything to them in relation to their treatments. They also told us they were given enough time to make an informed decision.
We saw there were systems in place to ensure people were cared for in a clean and hygienic environment and that questionnaires were in place to seek the views of people who used the service. We also saw that there were systems in place to ensure that complaints were addressed.
We saw that where appropriate, staff were registered with the General Dental Council and that records of continuing professional development activities were maintained.
