During a routine inspection
The person we spoke with told us "There is nothing here I dislike, I feel safe and staff support me to do the things I want to do." They told us they enjoyed going out to the bank and shops and they chose what to do every day.
A member of staff told us "The provider likes to make sure staff are supported and aware of how to support the people who use the service." Another member of staff told us "I really like working here, the people are great and there is such a relaxed atmosphere."
We found people were treated with dignity and respect and made real choices with their daily activities. They were involved in their assessment and chose the key areas of care they wanted help with.
Staff were knowledgeable around safeguarding vulnerable adults and felt confident to identify and report concerns. They told us they received great support and training to do their jobs effectively. The provider had engaged an external service to assess the quality of their service.
