During a routine inspection
People's needs were assessed and care and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual care plan. People we spoke with told us they were happy with their care. One person said, "my whole life has been better here, they look after me". Another person told us,' I could not complain at all, they give me food and water and all the rest of it'.
People who use the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening. People said they felt safe living at Abbey Road.
There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced nurses and carers to meet people's needs.
The provider had an effective system in place to identify, assess and manage risks to the health, safety and welfare of people who use the service and others.
