During a routine inspection
Comments received from patients included: 'I have been a patient of Dr Martin for many years and have always found her to be responsive to my health care needs'; 'I have no concerns about the treatment I have received from my GP and have always been treated well' and 'I have always been seen in a private consultation room and have found Dr Martin to have a genuine interest in my health and wellbeing.'
Patients spoken with also confirmed that the standard of care and treatment they received at the practice was good and confirmed they had time to discuss their queries and questions during their consultation.
Comments received included: 'Any treatment options have always been explained to me so I can make an informed choice'; 'I have no concerns or complaints about the standard of care I have received from my GP. In my opinion I receive a good service and referrals to secondary care when necessary have always been completed in a timely manner' and 'I have been a patient of Dr Martin for over twenty years and have always found her to be a good GP.'
The practice provided patients with a range of health care information leaflets and information on the practice and the complaints procedure was on display in the waiting room.
