During a routine inspection
Records sampled demonstrated at each visit general health details and medications were updated, soft tissue and palette examinations were noted.
We spoke with five patients during the inspection and without exception comments were positive. Comments included: "Staff are great, everything is explained and they are very friendly", "Treatment here is great, when I needed an emergency appointment they fitted me in really quick" and "I have no complaints at all".
The practice had effective systems in place to monitor the quality of the service provided. Audits were undertaken on a monthly basis and included monitoring of treatment records, cleanliness and the environment.
We found the practice had several systems in place in order to gain feedback on the service. This included the use of an annual survey and a compliments and complaints mailbox in the reception area.
