During a routine inspection
We found the standard of care plan records was satisfactory and included a robust system to identify risks to people who received support. Plans were in place to show how risks could be eliminated or managed effectively.
Staff had received training to give them the skills they needed to meet people's care needs appropriately. When we looked at staff recruitment, we found the system in place protected people from receiving care from unsuitable staff. Staff were supported through training, supervision and team meetings to maintain high standards of care to the people they supported.
We found staff had received training to help them identify and respond appropriately to any actual or potential abuse of people they supported. The provider had taken appropriate action when there had been any allegation of abuse in the past.
