During a routine inspection
We looked at records which showed that people's care and support needs had been assessed, documented and reviewed. They were personalised and gave clear guidance about people's individual needs and requirements. A relative commented, 'I cannot fault the care provided. It is absolutely first class and has made a huge difference to all of our lives. [The provider] is so very kind and caring.'
The provider had made suitable arrangements to ensure that people who used the service were protected from the risks associated with abuse. Published guidance about safeguarding vulnerable people was readily available and had been put into practice.
We saw in records that people who used the service had their needs met by competent staff who had been properly trained. A relative told us, '[The provider] is extremely competent, professional and knowledgeable about what they do.'
Systems had been put in place to regularly assess and monitor the quality of services provided.
