Our view of the service

Angelina Care is a care home that provides residential support for up to 12 people living with mental health conditions. There were 11 people living at the service at the time of our inspection. The aim of the service is to provide residential care and to assist people to regain independent living skills. The assessment commenced 1 February 2024 and was completed 15 February 2024. The assessment included a visit to the service by an inspector on 6 February 2024. We looked at 5 quality statements; Safeguarding; Involving people to manage risks; Safe and effective staffing; Independence, choice and control and Equity in experiences and outcomes. Following the assessment, the service has received an overall rating of good for all quality statements assessed.

People's experience of this service

During the site visit, we received positive feedback from people who lived at the service. One person told us, “I feel happy and safe living here.” Another person said, “I feel that I am well looked after by the staff.”
