During a routine inspection
We spoke with people who used the service about the availability of appointments and if they had to wait over their appointment time to be seen. The people we spoke with said they were very happy with the service they received, with appointments readily available and on time.
One person we spoke to told us; "I have never had a problem getting an appointment.'
Another person told us, 'I am very happy with the dentist.'
We looked around the Practice and reviewed systems in place dealing with the cleanliness and hygiene practices. Staff showed us the decontamination process and described how the equipment was monitored to ensure it was working. We saw that the Practice was clean and well presented.
We reviewed the policies and procedures held at the Practice. The policies we saw were accurate and up-to-date. The Practice had effective quality assurance systems in place, and formal policies dealing with complaints and records management.
