All Inspections

During a routine inspection

People told us they were happy and satisfied with the care and support being provided. Comments made to us included, 'The carers are reliable and professional.' 'Staff are friendly and polite.' 'They are fantastic people.'

One person told us, 'Although the service is only for a short time which is a shame I am very pleased with all aspects of the service.'

People told us the service was reliable and the staff were usually on time and stayed for the agreed length of time. People told us if staff were going to be late someone always let them know. People said they felt able to tell staff if they required any changes to the way in which they were cared for.

People who used the service appeared happy with the care and support they received. This was because people were treated with respect and supported in meeting their care needs, whilst maintaining their independence.

The staff we spoke with told us there were clear lines of communication and accountability within the service and they were well supported throughout. They were aware of the policies and procedures in place to guide them on how to report and recognise abuse.

Effective quality auditing procedures were undertaken and appropriate systems were in place for gathering, recording and evaluating information about the quality of the service provided.
