During a routine inspection
One person we spoke to had previous experience of the service and said "I have confidence in the staff who are helpful and professional". Another person told us "they were made to feel at ease and were given detailed information about the service".
We saw records of two people who use the service which were accurate and up to date.
Three members of staff told us they enjoyed their work and had a good level of support to help them if required. All staff spoken to confirmed there were good opportunities for training and development.
We saw two staff files which contained records of recruitment procedures, induction, appraisal and mandatory training.
The manager told us that they carried out client satisfaction surveys on an annual basis. We saw the summary for 2012 and reviewed twelve in detail. The comments were complimentary about staff and all stated "staff were helpful and professional".
