All Inspections

During a routine inspection

Before people received any care or therapy they were asked for their consent and the provider acted in accordance with their wishes. One person told us "They explained the process and verbally asked my consent at every session". Another person said 'I was asked for my consent before I started my therapy sessions'.

Care and therapy was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare.

People who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening.

There were effective recruitment and selection processes in place.

People who used the service, their representatives and staff were asked for their views about their care and treatment and they were acted on.

People had their comments and complaints listened to and acted on, without the fear that they would be penalised for making a complaint.
