During a routine inspection
There were arrangements in place for assessing people's suitability for minor surgical operations and hair transplants and for providing follow up care. People were given information about alternative treatments and risks of treatment were explained to them.
The clinic's facilities were clean and there was a system for ensuring cleanliness standards were monitored. One medical practitioner was employed to carry out minor surgical operations and hair transplants. Pre-employment checks for this medical practitioner were complete and there were arrangements in place for monitoring their clinical performance.
The clinic monitored the quality of the care people received though quality checks which were undertaken by the clinic manager, a complaints procedure, and monitoring of incidents. The clinic routinely collected and reviewed people's feedback. There was a complaints procedure and complaints were monitored and addressed.
