During a routine inspection
People told us they were made welcome and treated with respect. They told us their dentist fully involved them and provided them with lots of information to enable them to make an informed decision about their treatment options. There were arrangements in place to deal with emergency situations including annual training for all staff in medical emergencies and first aid.
People told us they had no concerns about the standard of cleanliness and hygiene. One person said, 'It's immaculately clean'. The practice had effective arrangements in place for the safe management of infection control. Staff had received training to reduce the risk of infection.
People considered staff were competent to carry out their work. They said they were friendly and caring. Dental staff told us they were provided with lots of opportunities to further develop their skills and knowledge. They told us they were well supported and functioned well as a team.
People told us they had no reason to complain about the service they had received. They were confident their views would be listened to and acted upon if they were to complain.
