During a routine inspection
The feedback we had from patients was positive. We were told that the patient's were given choices and treatment was clearly explained to them. The carer of one patient told us 'it's probably the most happy she's ever been with a dentist.'
The patients we spoke with said that they were always asked for consent before treatment commenced and whether there were any changes to their medical history.
We found that the practice had the necessary arrangements in place that ensured that equipment was suitable and safe for the people who used the service and that there were procedures in place in case of an emergency.
We looked at the training log and found that the staff had regular and appropriate training. One member of staff told us they felt 'very supported.'
The practice had systems in place to record complaints and comments and a process to resolve any problems.
