During a routine inspection

We spoke with two people using the service and four relatives. They told us the care was good. Comments included, 'They are the best agency I've ever had.' 'I am very happy with the service.' 'They are all nice people.'

The provider had some arrangements for gaining consent from people before delivering care.

We spoke with five staff and the provider had suitable arrangements in place in order to ensure that staff were supported in relation to their responsibilities, to enable them to deliver safe care to people at an appropriate standard.

We found that the provider had systems for assessing and monitoring the quality of service.

During a routine inspection

We spoke with three people who said they were happy with the service. We contacted five relatives of people using the service. One person told us, 'We are very pleased with the service and look forward to them coming.' Another said, 'I am really pleased that we found them.' Relatives also said they were happy with the way staff provided care.

People using the service and their relatives told us that they were confident that if they had any concerns or complaints they would be sorted out promptly. They said they would speak to staff or the manager if they had any concerns.

There were systems in place for staff recruitment and training was available for staff to do their job.

Not all quality assurance systems in place were effective in monitoring and improving the service.
