During a routine inspection
We found that people's records were complete and that they were regularly updated. These records showed that people received care and support in accordance with their individual plans and assessments. Records were managed to protect the confidentiality of people using the service.
People received effective support from adequate numbers of staff who were competent to look after them. Although the core staff team was small there were effective arrangements in place to ensure that the required staffing levels were maintained. People's rights and safety were protected by staff and any concerns about their welfare were raised appropriately.
Most people participated in meaningfull and therapeutic activities and staff understood their preferences for how they liked to spend their time. People were also supported to access mainstream health services, such as foot care and community nursing.
