During a routine inspection
We saw that patients were assessed regarding their treatment needs and then asked to consent to their treatment. They told us that office staff were helpful and pleasant and that the physiotherapist was very skilled. One person said, 'I felt physically and mentally better as soon as I had seen him. He is brilliant'.
Staff had been recruited in accordance with the company's policies and procedures to ensure that only people considered suitable to work with vulnerable people had been employed. Staff received regular training to ensure that their skills and knowledge remained up to date and checks were in place to ensure that their registration to practice had not expired.
The patients who we spoke with told us that they had received an excellent service from Assura. They confirmed that they had received a questionnaire that asked about their satisfaction with the service. One person told us, "I was satisfied with the treatment I received and I filled in a survey to record that. I cannot criticise them at all'.
