During an inspection looking at part of the service
The service operated out of an office base in St Albans in Hertfordshire. We were told that people usually had been medically discharged when they used this service; documentation had now been altered to reflect this.
We saw documentation that included basic details of the people who used the service. This information was given to the service by the relevant insurance company and included the details of the person's name, age and where they were collected from and transported to. In some cases the person who used the service was accompanied by a medical assistant or nurse who continued to support the person using the service. We were unable to speak to anybody who used the service as there were no contact details of the people retained by the service.
