During a routine inspection
One person told us, 'I find staff very helpful and supportive. Information is clearly explained to me and my medical details are updated at every visit.' Another person told us, 'I have gradually lost weight in a controlled way and feel better for it.'
We found the service was appropriately involving and consulting with people who used the service. People were given adequate information about the service and the risks and benefits of different treatment. This meant they could make an informed choice. People were appropriately assessed before being accepted on the programme and supported throughout their treatment. This increased the chance of successful weight loss.
Medication was used appropriately and was stored and administered safely.
The premises was fit for purpose and ensured that people's privacy and confidentiality were respected.
We have identified some improvements necessary in terms of their staff recruitment processes.
